Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective date: July 22, 2026 · Last updated: July 22, 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases of Kashboard subscriptions, plans, add-ons, usage credits, top-ups, Lifetime Deals, promotional offers, and other paid products or services.
By purchasing or using a paid Kashboard product or service, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.
30-day money-back guarantee. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for most Kashboard subscriptions and plans. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. Refunds are processed by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides customer service inquiries and refund handling. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or contact us at contact@kashboard.app.
1. Subscription Payments
Monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, subscription renewals, plan upgrades, maintenance or support plans, and other recurring fees may be refunded within 30 days of the order date if you are not satisfied with the Service.
The 30-day money-back guarantee is intended to let new customers evaluate Kashboard in good faith. It is not a free trial, a rental arrangement, or a mechanism to extract the commercial value of the Service and then request the money back. Refund requests are reviewed against the ordinary usage patterns of a customer genuinely evaluating the Service during that period.
Kashboard and Paddle may deny, reduce, prorate, or condition a refund within the 30-day window where the request appears inconsistent with good-faith evaluation, including where:
- You have made substantial or disproportionate use of the Service — for example importing very large volumes of transactions, generating large numbers of AI outputs, PDF reports, tax summaries, business sale packs, or exports, or otherwise consuming a materially greater share of resources than a typical evaluating customer;
- You have already downloaded, exported, or extracted substantially all of the outputs, reports, or data you sought to obtain from the Service;
- You are requesting a refund after the underlying business need (for example a tax filing, funding round, or sale) has been completed using the Service;
- Multiple accounts, email addresses, payment methods, or promotional codes have been used to obtain repeated 30-day guarantees;
- The account has breached, or is reasonably suspected of breaching, our Terms of Service, fair-use requirements, or acceptable-use rules;
- Abuse, fraud, chargeback risk, account sharing, resale, or coordinated refund activity is suspected; or
- The features complained of were clearly described, disclosed, or demonstrated before purchase.
Where a refund is approved in these circumstances, Kashboard or Paddle may issue a partial or prorated refund reflecting the value already received, rather than a full refund.
After the 30-day refund period expires, subscription payments are not refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated at the time of purchase. Continued use of the Service beyond 30 days is treated as acceptance of the Service and confirmation that it meets your requirements.
Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not provide a refund or credit for the current billing period unless the request is made within the 30-day refund window and meets the good-faith conditions above.
You will ordinarily retain access until the end of the period for which you have paid, unless your account is suspended or terminated for a violation of our Terms of Service.
Outside the 30-day refund window, we do not provide refunds or credits for:
- Partially used subscription periods;
- Unused accounts;
- Failure to cancel before renewal;
- Changes in usage or business circumstances;
- Failure to use available features;
- Downgrades;
- Forgotten subscriptions; or
- Dissatisfaction caused by features clearly described before purchase.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory refund rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence, or Paddle's own rights and obligations as Merchant of Record.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription through the available account controls or by contacting contact@kashboard.app.
Your cancellation must be completed before the renewal is processed. Cancellation requests received after a renewal charge has been processed apply to the following billing period.
Deleting the Kashboard application, disconnecting an integration, or ceasing to use the Service does not automatically cancel a subscription.
You are responsible for confirming that your cancellation has been completed.
3. Free Trials
If Kashboard offers a free or discounted trial, the applicable trial length and renewal terms will be disclosed when you register.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your account may automatically convert to the paid subscription selected during registration and your payment method may be charged.
Once a trial converts into a paid subscription, the resulting payment is non-refundable except where required by law or otherwise expressly stated, unless you are still within the 30-day refund window counted from the conversion date.
Creating multiple accounts, using different email addresses, or taking other steps to obtain repeated trials is prohibited and may result in suspension or termination.
4. Lifetime Deals
Lifetime Deal purchases made directly from Kashboard are refundable within the refund period, if any, displayed at checkout. Once that refund period expires, Lifetime Deal purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
A Lifetime Deal provides access subject to:
- Kashboard’s Terms of Service;
- The specific Lifetime Deal offer;
- Fair-use requirements;
- Usage limits;
- Account eligibility requirements; and
- Kashboard’s rights concerning plan changes, top-ups, subscriptions, account restrictions, suspension, and termination.
A request for a refund does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.
Kashboard may deny a Lifetime Deal refund where:
- The applicable refund period has expired;
- The code has been redeemed or transferred;
- The user has made substantial use of the Service;
- The account has breached our Terms of Service;
- Abuse, fraud, account sharing, code stacking, or excessive usage is suspected;
- The purchase was made through a third party;
- A chargeback has already been submitted; or
- The offer was expressly described as non-refundable.
5. Lifetime Deals and Codes Purchased From Third Parties
If you purchased a Lifetime Deal, voucher, redemption code, or promotional offer through a third-party marketplace, reseller, affiliate, or deal platform, your purchase is subject to that seller’s refund policy.
Refund requests must be submitted directly to the third party from which you made the purchase.
Kashboard cannot refund money that was paid to a third-party seller and is not responsible for:
- The third party’s refund period;
- Refund denials;
- Marketplace fees;
- Processing delays;
- Exchange-rate differences;
- Taxes charged by the seller;
- Promotional representations not authorized by Kashboard; or
- The third party’s closure or inability to process a refund.
If a third-party purchase is refunded, reversed, disputed, or charged back, the associated Kashboard code and account access may be immediately suspended, revoked, or terminated.
Any data associated with the affected account may also be deleted in accordance with our Terms of Service and data-retention practices.
6. Top-Ups, Usage Credits, and Add-Ons
Purchases of usage credits, artificial intelligence credits, processing credits, storage upgrades, API allowances, additional users or seats, additional business or entity allowances, data connections, integrations, support packages, one-time add-ons, top-ups, and other usage-based products are generally final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated at purchase.
Unused credits or allowances have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for money.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, credits and allowances may expire when:
- The applicable plan ends;
- The account is closed;
- The account is suspended or terminated;
- The underlying feature is discontinued; or
- An expiry period disclosed at purchase is reached.
7. Upgrades and Downgrades
Plan upgrades may take effect immediately. You may be charged a prorated amount, the full price difference, or another amount disclosed before confirming the upgrade.
Upgrade payments may be refunded within the 30-day refund window if you are not satisfied; otherwise they are non-refundable.
Plan downgrades ordinarily take effect at the beginning of the next billing period. Downgrading does not entitle you to a refund or credit for the current billing period.
A downgrade may result in reduced features, allowances, storage, users, integrations, or access to data. You are responsible for exporting any information that may become unavailable before the downgrade takes effect.
8. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges
If you believe you were charged incorrectly or charged more than once for the same purchase, contact contact@kashboard.app within 30 days of the charge.
Please include:
- Your account email;
- The date and amount of the charge;
- The transaction or invoice number;
- A description of the suspected error; and
- Any relevant supporting information.
If we confirm that a billing error occurred, we will correct the error and issue an appropriate refund or credit.
Failure to report a suspected billing error within 30 days may limit our ability to investigate or correct it, except where applicable law requires a longer period.
9. Technical Issues and Service Availability
Technical problems, temporary outages, integration failures, bank-feed delays, data-provider interruptions, incomplete outputs, or unavailable features do not automatically qualify for a refund.
You must provide Kashboard with a reasonable opportunity to investigate and attempt to resolve a reported issue.
Refunds will not ordinarily be provided where an issue results from:
- Your device, internet connection, or browser;
- Incorrect account configuration;
- Unsupported software or services;
- A third-party platform or integration;
- A bank or financial-data provider;
- Incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you;
- Failure to install or use available updates;
- Use outside the Service’s documented or intended purpose;
- A temporary outage or scheduled maintenance; or
- A breach of our Terms of Service.
Where Kashboard determines that the Service was materially unavailable for an extended period due solely to Kashboard’s systems, we may provide a service credit or other remedy at our discretion unless a refund is required by law.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
No refund or credit will be provided if an account is restricted, suspended, banned, or terminated because of:
- A violation of our Terms of Service;
- Suspected or confirmed system abuse;
- Fraudulent or unlawful activity;
- Excessive or abnormal usage;
- Account sharing;
- Unauthorized code resale or transfer;
- Code stacking or promotional manipulation;
- Attempts to bypass limits or billing controls;
- A chargeback or payment dispute;
- Non-payment;
- Security concerns;
- False or unverifiable information; or
- Conduct that creates legal, financial, security, operational, or reputational risk for Kashboard.
If Kashboard permanently discontinues the entire Service or terminates a prepaid subscription without cause before the end of its paid period, Kashboard may provide a prorated refund, service credit, migration option, or other reasonable remedy.
Any remedy will be determined by Kashboard based on the circumstances and applicable law.
Lifetime Deal users are not guaranteed a refund if Kashboard discontinues, replaces, restructures, or materially changes the Service or an LTD plan.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you do not recognize a charge or believe a billing error occurred, contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate.
Initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute may result in the affected account being temporarily restricted or suspended while the matter is investigated.
If a payment is reversed, the associated subscription, Lifetime Deal, code, credits, add-ons, features, and account access may be revoked.
Submitting a false, fraudulent, or abusive chargeback may result in:
- Permanent account termination;
- Invalidation of promotional or Lifetime Deal codes;
- Recovery of unpaid amounts;
- Recovery of chargeback fees where permitted by law; and
- Restriction from purchasing or using Kashboard in the future.
Nothing in this section limits a consumer’s lawful right to dispute a genuinely unauthorized or incorrect charge.
12. Approved Refunds
If Kashboard approves a refund:
- It will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method;
- Processing times will depend on the payment provider or financial institution;
- Payment-processing fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law;
- Currency-conversion differences are not refundable;
- Taxes will be refunded only where applicable and recoverable; and
- Access associated with the refunded purchase may be removed immediately.
Kashboard is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment processors, marketplaces, or other financial institutions.
Receiving a refund may result in the deletion of the associated account and User Content. You should export any required data before requesting a refund.
13. Promotional Discounts
Promotional discounts, coupons, referral credits, introductory pricing, and special offers:
- Have no cash value;
- Cannot be exchanged for money;
- Cannot be applied retroactively;
- Cannot ordinarily be combined;
- May be subject to eligibility requirements;
- May expire; and
- May be withdrawn if obtained or used improperly.
If you cancel a discounted plan and later resubscribe, the previous promotional price may no longer be available.
14. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies a consumer guarantee, statutory refund right, or other legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If applicable law gives you a mandatory right to cancel or receive a refund, that right will apply despite any conflicting provision of this policy.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time.
The updated policy will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes ordinarily apply to purchases and renewals occurring after the updated policy takes effect. Changes may also apply to existing accounts where permitted by law and our Terms of Service.
